About Marvel "Kay"You may be curious where 'Marvelous' comes from.... I guess my mother thought I was pretty marvelous so she gave me the first name 'Marvel'. As a little girl I wasn't too excited with that name so at an early age I decided that I would use my middle name... Kay... Over the years it stuck and these days most of my friends don't know me as Marvel. However.... my clients know me as someone who is absolutely tenacious in getting things done. I am a hard worker, and never afraid to go the extra mile. I respond quickly and am a good communicator. At the same time, I am also creative and I love to have fun. I find the good in everyone, almost to a fault. The art of creating a warm and attractive home is what initially drew me into real estate. Looking back, I guess I have been decorating, designing, and matching people with spaces during most of my several careers. I have had my California real estate license since 2007, and I also have certificates in interior design and home staging. My favorite part of every transaction is finding the perfect home for a client, and then watching their excitement when they realize it’s really theirs. During the process we have a lot of fun, and very often end up spending time together after the sale. I love the desert and its lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles and Orange County. I am thrilled that my work in real estate enables me to combine my love of interior design with the business skills I’ve learned throughout my other careers. |

Dean Peterson holds a Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University and MarvelKay has received a certificate from the Newport Beach Interior Design Institute as well as a certificate in Home Staging. She previously worked as a sales real estate agent with Coldwell Banker and PalmDesert Greens Realty is currently associated with the brokerage HomeSmart inPalm Desert for the last 6 years.
DeanPeterson has extensive experience in sales and marketing and has worked in the real estate industry for over 6 years. He has a certificate and is licensed as a California Home Inspector (non working) He has worked with some of the largest corporations in the country and brings his marketing expertise toMarvelous Desert Homes.
