welcome to The marvelous desert journal

Welcome to The Marvelous Desert Journal — your inside look at real estate, communities and life here in the beautiful Coachella Valley.

Each month, Kay and Dean Peterson of Marvelous Desert Homes will bring you local market insights without the jargon, neighborhood and country club spotlights, homeowner tips, things to see and do around the valley, and an occasional bit of desert fun. Whether you're buying, selling, already lucky enough to call the desert home, or just dreaming about it — pull up a chair and stay awhile. Life in the desert is pretty Marvelous.
